August 1989 Summer Moon co. was established in Limasol city (Cyprus) as a trading co. specialized in importing & exporting seafood appetizers. Another business was started in Alexandria (Egypt) in the same aspect for general trading, in 1995 Mr.Hany El Menshawy the founder of this project started to set up the first plant for smoked & salted sea food appetizers in Egypt in New Borg El Arab city (Alexandria) on an area of 500 sq.m. as a multistory building targeting to achieve the best quality of these products . |

Summer Moon succeeded to invade the gulf markets and all the hyper- markets in Egypt. They received a great support through UNIDO by upgrading their business through a special program for implementation of HACCP as they were one of the first group which participated in the program. |

Now Summer Moon is busy in expanding their business, building another plant on an area of 1000 square meter. More investments will be replenished for new Summer Moon project in the near future. |
